The Spinet Made by David Lindsey, The Spinet is
a full size 16/15 hammered dulcimer. It features a lightweight
design with 16 treble and 15 bass courses. It has a 3 octave range,
with D below middle C being the lowest note. Dimensions are 41” by
22” by 3” and weighs only 15 pounds. The wood choice
in a Spinet includes maple, walnut and cherry.
The Spinet is sold as a complete package, which includes a soft case, a tuning

The Bill Spence Model has a true “Grand Style” floating
soundboard, supported at its side edges only, to eliminate vibration-damping
center supports and to permit it to vibrate more freely than
a soundboard whose top and bottom edges are glued in place. It
now offers 3 strings per course on the treble to enhance its
dynamic range
